Art

Art is the most indulgent, expressive form of creation ever known to man. Every form of thought, expression, intent is a form of art. Coming down from the complex perfections of the universe to the indulgent imperfections of human life.

Music is the most royal form of life, in all philosophical ways, it is also an art, as good music can unite, and bad music can deplete wonderfully well. Good music as an art is music that can express both the artist’s and the listener’s imaginative world. A critic will only come to love the art which indulges the ear when it succeeds in appealing to the critic’s mind. That said, bad music is another form of expressive art, but it achieves the inverse to what it strives for. There is no such thing as bad music, it is an illusion critics apply to achieve more depth to their dubbings. Music which creates a reality unsuitable to the listener can be expressed as “Bad music”. As goes the saying- “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” The term applies everywhere. “Bad music” may sound so to one, but to the other it is a valued sanctuary to the ears from the noisy, bustling art of everyday life.

Additionally, a critic is he who can express a form of new art through the means of old art, for the critic is just an artist who aims to reveal his own aims to the world. If he succeeds, he is called an artist by other critics, but if not, he stays as a critic, forever yearning to make his own art known. It is not by the artist who reveals the speculation of the illusion in the world we live in, but by the critics, who find their own truths in expressing the art they behold in their own unique way.

“To reveal art and conceal the artist is art’s aim”, A quote made by the critical artist, Oscar Wilde, reveals much about the world of art. It is, in order to the path which shows us how the critic reveals the art, and not the artist. Through art, an artist can be shown to reveal himself, but that does not seem the case. What really lies therein, is the view of the world which critics strive to design to their own suiting. Art is a treacherous folly, and it lives in indulging pleasure, feeding on happiness, and inviting darkness, the most expressive form of art. In its most profound form, Art steals the artist’s image and applies to it its own folly, which the critics determine.

Deeper within, lies the most expressive form of art, darkness. The epitome of imagination and fear. Darkness plays on minds and creates within a canvas of the human mind its masterpiece. This sudden convocation installs fear to all and every human mind. The fear of the unknown is known to rob many a human soul. The darkness is, in its mass, infinite and beholding, to every mind it beholds a different masterpiece, so in many ways, a critic can successfully create his own masterpiece in the darkness, as with its boundless indulgence, lies the truth of the critic himself. If the critic can utilize it. He can master all forms of art and can be as infinite as the now newly born artist’s teacher, darkness. If one can master the art of darkness, he can go beyond the realms of the arts which define him into his own form of art.

Jules Verne, the renowned science fiction storyteller once, in his first novel, gave his character the phrase: “Excelsior”. Latin, meaning to go higher. Reaching further heights than ever before. The latter would later go traverse through Africa in a balloon, in the eighteenth century. This shows how even in ordinary matters present in everyday life, if one can express his form of art, he is a master of his own critics. This applies in writing, which is another royal form of art.

A writer is an artist who reveals the world he indulges in, and shows it to the other world in which his physical form exists. The writers of modern times have gone to show their critics as an expression of art, to the world. Rick Riordan, an especially expressive writer of modern times, shows how he blends mystics of the world of the past with those of today. Another example can be J.K Rowling, who constructed within the canvas of his mind, a picture so detailed it brings tears to the critic’s eyes. With nothing but shrewd imagination, constructed the world of wizards, Harry Potter. The franchise, having long since ended, still continues today through various forms of side stories.

Daily life is also a form of art, a beauty to those who pay attention, for life is not the creation of one artist, but the works of many, poured into a single canvas. Life is, in its own way, as expressive as darkness, with one difference- Darkness beholds each masterpiece uniquely in individual minds, while life is a bust of many. Life, as a result of so many works of art mashed together, may look bustling, but a critic who spends time closely observing each part carefully, is the only one who can truly appreciate the value of life.

Art is an intense form of creation, both a blessing and a curse to humanity. For it is art that leads a soul through the pleasures of life and the same which expresses the torment of it. From breathing to the star beholding its supernova to the keen eyes on Earth. Art is not just a picture an artist draws, it is the very essence of life, of existence. All that was written was nothing but the first vestiges of art, to write a proper description of one would be to write the equivalent of a million pages. To conclude, art is an expression, that is all.
