The word ‘technology’ has become increasingly dominant in the world over the past few decades.A lot of problems have occurred in the past due to the lack of advanced technology but now the scenario have flipped over completely.From developing windmills, watermills for helping farmers in the 15th century to now having artificial intelligence like Al in the 25th century,technology has taken control over every human beings lives.A lot of advantages have arrived from the development of technology in the past few decades such as global connection,innovation etc.It has also led to a better healthcare and education system. After the 2020 lockdown, a new innovation emerged in human minds: online classes.This has helped many people to have a better quality of education in an easier way.Computers,television and space exploration reshaped the knowledge and entertainment world forever. The innovation of the internet has connected the world like never before.Like all things in life, the overdevelopment of technology inevitably introduces certain drawbacks into our lives. This includes the privacy concerns and overdependence of gadgets. In the present era, technological advances have made nearly anything possible, ranging from cybercrimes such as hacking a person’s bank account to sophisticated manipulation of people’s faces and voices.And the boom of Al has a profound impact on the lives of innocent people.Social media trolls along with artificial intelligence have given a new and negative form to the technology world.Technology is one of the fastest growing developments of this world.It plays such an integral role in our lives.From communication to businesses,everything is managed by the use of technology. At present,conducting online businesses are the only livelihood for a lot of people.Technology is like air-it’s everywhere around us.It has very smartly integrated itself in every part of our lives.One must be petrified to imagine a life without advanced technology such as smartphones, television,computers etc.As overpowering technology has become, it is also growing to be the biggest curse in human beings lives. The amount of negativity spread through the excessive use of social media and AI is unprecedented. The excessive use of mobile phones and the accessibility it provides to the humans have pulled them towards laziness more now.This have broken the rope that tied people together back in the 90s where friendships were made in the blink of an eye and the society was together as a family. The immense popularity of youtube has influenced many people to become youtubers,influencers,online models etc. These terms are widely known and used by the GEN-Z people nowadays. This acts as a great help for people to earn their bread and butter through creating and showcasing their talents in a much easier way.Technology has become a way of life now.Its accessible to all age groups-from babies watching cocomelon to old people spending their retirement on social media.Even a bunch of schools now strictly use the innovation of technologies such as ipads, laptops.The use of notepads and pens/pencils has started to reduce slightly though the production businesses of them still stand tall. Today, it is far easier to check the probability of rain with a weather app, whereas earlier generations had no such option and were often caught unprepared. While we often tend to overlook the development of technology, the people whose hard work drives its advancement and promotion are the true unsung heroes of our world. We often take them and their superior gadgets for granted. It’s astonishing to think how beautifully the professionals have designed such machines. This includes thedesign of smartphones that literally transfers your texts to the other person for free or helps you find locations in just a few clicks. Even Holter monitors in hospitals are an awe-inspiring device created by humans.Technology is a double-edged sword:it can uplift humanity, but if only used widely.According to the articles, 2.6 billion of people worldwide do not have access to the advanced technology.There are also several people who still struggle use this advancement. There are around 73% of people aged from 65 or above who are unable to use new aged technology. These percentages are much higher than younger aged groups, such as the 17% of the 18-29 year olds who also need help. The past discoveries have made us come to a conclusion that both the success and failure rate of advanced technology are pretty high. The future of technology depends not just on innovation but also on the responsibility with which we use it.
