Welcome to ProjectQ2! As you’ve entered the website, numerous opportunities, forms, and initiatives have been thrown at you. However, how should you take advantage of what ProjectQ2 has to offer?
To guide you through our website, we’ve established a user guide on our various initiatives and opportunities to ensure that you have the ability to best utilize our resources. With that said, continue reading to learn more about our blogs, REPS, and the Q2 Foundation.
Blogs
As a promoter of egalitarianism in youth education, we believe that fostering collaboration and exploration amongst youth is an exigent step towards equality in academia, and we view digital blogs as the best method of doing so.
So, we’ve designed an online blog platform accessed through ProjectQ2 where youth of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and geographical locations, may post their latest discoveries in academia and interact with each other to strengthen their curiosity and learning experience. Posted blogs are additionally entered into an annual competition, where we will select the highest quality blogs for public recognition, mentorship opportunities with ProjectQ2 members, and up to $100 worth of prizes.
What are the rules when writing and commenting on blogs?
Before diving deep into your captivating interests, please ensure that your blogs and comments do not break the following rules.
- Only post academic-related content
- Be respectful and mature, and avoid controversy to your best ability
- NSFW or 18+ content is not permitted
- Do not discuss grades and/or personal information in your comments and posts
- Advertisement of products or services is not permitted
How should I post my blog?
If you’re confident your blog follows the above rules, here are the steps you should follow to publish your work.
- Format your blog on Google Documents so that your Title is clear and we may revise and edit the grammar if needed.
- From gmail.com, begin a message that will be sent to blakedjbs@gmail.com and tanzimredwan18@gmail.com
- Title your email: “ProjectQ2 – Blog Submission”
- On your Google Document, clearly indicate the title of your posts, your first and last name, the content of your post, and your references/citations
- Send a follow up email if you do not receive a response within 3 days of emailing us.
How should I comment on posts?
At the moment, we require that you attach your first/last name and your email to ensure that comments remain relevant and appropriate. Your email will not be displayed on your comment.
With that said, we’ve designed comments to be used as an opportunity to discuss, question, and/or respectfully debate the content of a post. Comments should not be used to discourage or demean fellow peers on the platform.
REPS
As a key branch of our efforts to foster curiosity and inclusivity in education, we’ve established REPS, a free research editing and support service for passionate youth interested in conducting research. Our editors, who have published in top Q2 journals and are currently interning in world renowned labs, have experience backed in research, and will directly collaborate with you to assist you on your journey as a researcher. If you are admitted to the REPS fellowship, we will guide you towards publishing in a professional journal; all successful publications will be recognized by ProjectQ2 and publicized by us via our socials and may be recognized in an affiliated newspaper or magazine. At the end of the fellowship, you will be a lifetime Q²X(Excellence and Exploration) alumni, and will have access to future mentorship, insider meetings, and various other opportunities.
How do I apply?
To apply for REPS, please complete the google form embedded on the REPS page of our website; no application fees are required and the fellowship is entirely free. Remember, our services are limited and applications are competitive, so do not feel discouraged if you are not accepted into REPS as it is not an indicator of inability or a lack of skills, but rather a consequence of our small team of editors.
How are individuals selected for the publication waiver scholarship?
We will offer publishing support to select applicants that demonstrate academic excellence, genuine curiosity, and unparalleled drive in their work. To be eligible, you must be accepted into REPS and have a paper ready for publication. Our funding is limited, so solely the most accomplished papers that demonstrate cohesive research abilities along with the effort of their author/s will be selected for this exclusive scholarship.
The Q2 Foundation
Founder and CEO Tanzim Redwan has first hand experience with the predominant population of citizens who are economically disadvantaged, in poverty, or homeless, in Bangladesh. Recognizing the risks for communicable diseases and hygiene-related illness, he established the Q2 Foundation in conjunction with ProjectQ2. The Q2 Foundation is an initiative geared towards spreading healthcare advocacy in Bangladesh and providing essential-hygiene kits to those in poverty. All profits gained from courses and donations are directly utilized by the Q2 Foundation to fund the purchasing of resources and distribution of hygiene kits to those in need. Currently, we are collecting donations and have planned our first major distribution of hygiene kits and healthcare advocacy infographics for January-May of 2026.
Conclusion
Ultimately, we hope you are able to take full advantage of our resources and develop your basis in academia in the process of doing so. Feel free to comment on this post or utilize the ‘Contact Us’ form for any questions in regards to our initiatives.
Best,
Blake E. Davis, Chief Operating Officer
